Sleeping in the back of the van
I just took the elevator up during the heist for the first time, and in the getaway car May-Ling tells Matt that "If it weren't for me, you'd be sleeping in the back of the van." I may have got her phrasing wrong, but the essential message was clear enough.

Anybody have any idea what she's talking about? I've played through the game five times now, and every time May-Ling was the one member of the gang who argued they should not include Matt in the heist, which would mean knocking him out as originally proposed - the exact opposite of what she's saying. And unless I missed something, rendering Matt senseless was never even suggested following his attempt to foil the heist, so she gets no credit for helping him there either. What is it that Matt is supposed to be grateful to her for?
