Any mod to silence the jump sound?

It really gets grating after a while, it didn't use to bother me but I guess now that I'm older its just really noticeable. Especially when I wanna enjoy the music and other sound effects. Really in retrospect the jump noise is kinda the worst thing about sonic.

Under Windows Audio. You can do this instead.

Mute the entirety of Sonic Mania Volume to 0. Open up a YouTube playing the stage theme on extended or loop either or.

Viola. No jumping sound

No sounds at all, I love the sound effects, that's the whole point of removing the jump it overpowers literally everything.

Just wondering if there's anyway to actually isolate and remove the specific sound file for jump. Must be a way.

There is, just gotta find the right modifier or customize a mod yourself with a custom SFX via Audacity.
