For some reason, i keep getting the error regarding "StartIndex" even after when i installed the loader into the Sonic mania file.
Does anyone know what i did wrong?

Is it the correct build of Mania? Correct version of the loader? Are you running a mod that is compatible with the current build?

Well i'm playing obviously the steam version of Mania so is the lastest version, the mod loader is the lastest version as well, and the mod: https://gamebanana.com/gamefiles/13379
I'm pretty sure can be played with the current build that i'm playing, whether is the current version or not i'm not certain of it

I believe that error can also be caused when the folders are not set up properly. Is the mod in the correct location? Is the mod loader in the correct location?

Yeah, i figured myself, i didn't know you had to make a folder for the mod and then put on "mods", I thought all you had to do is just drag the data on the file and then launcher mod loader.

Never clog up a forum like that. It's plain spam. Don't expect instant responses to any forum post. Ensure your folders are set up correctly. The mod loader needs to be in the main Mania folder. Then there needs to be a mods folder with the mods inside that mod folder.

This error is very commonly caused by incorrectly installing a mod. Either delete your mods folder and reinstall the mods correctly or clean the the mods folder by deleting the Data folder(if it exist in the mods folder) and deleting any files thats NOT on the following list

• Codes.dat
  
• Codes.lst
  
• ManiaModLoader.dll
  
• ManiaModLoader.ini
  
• Patches.dat

Its alright if you don't see the . and onwards, by default its hidden and can be safely ignored. What I mentioned only applies in the mods folder and not its subfolders.

I set mine up correctly, even with the help of the loader, but it's still not working
