Titanic. Monarch.

Titanic monarch feels too hard compared to every single zone before it, I couldn't beat the zone for a bit, and I still haven't even beaten the last boss. I literally CRIED at this zone when I was streaming. I don't like the zone. Do you like it? (This is partly due to my inability to play video games, but I beat every other zone so....)

I feel that Titanic Monarch might be among the worst zones in classic Sonic games. Act 1 isn't particularly bad save for a rather irritating boss and Mania's recurring issue of dropping the player onto a hazard when they come out of a speed segment, but Act 2 is unforgivingly long and blowing all your lives right at the end guarantees you're spending another 20 minutes to get back to where you were; I clocked 46 minutes on Act 2 alone in my first All Emeralds playthrough given I had to play the zone three times. Between that, the fact that the Act 2 boss has to reset the timer (and still takes another 5 or 6 minutes!), and the fact you don't get anything for completing the game with all Chaos Emeralds, I just can't help but feel that the game could have more than easily ended at Metallic Madness with a more robust boss in Act 2 instead of dragging things out further with Titanic Monarch.

At the very least, even after becoming skilled at the game, I feel most players could agree that Titanic Monarch is at the very least a bit longer than it ought to be. Most zones take about 10-15 minutes to complete both acts but TM easily takes 20-30.

Yeah, it's long...but it's not horrible. A couple times I did run out of time, but then that's just one life lost and then the timer gets reset. If anything, this zone is annoying because you have to play through the whole thing again to get to the final final boss, or if you want to see the other endings.

I have to disagree. I remember my first playthrough of it back in 2017 and didn't really find it difficult and got kind of confused as to why so many people were struggling with that zone so much. It might just be that i am very used and developed common skill for classic sonic games. While there are some certain parts of the zone that could have been altered, i do still think that the majority of the zone and most of mania has some of the best level design classic sonic has ever gotten.
