Cannot download Encore DLC despite purchasing it! Please Help!!

I made the mistake of purchasing the DLC while the game was running and I was told that I need to exit the game to download the DLC.

I exited the game but the DLC DID NOT download nor do I have the option to download it! It is listed in the 'My DLC" but there is not an option to download the DLC in "My DLC" nor is there anywhere else!

How do I fix this?

Hit "Manage my DLC" in the Steam library on the right side when you have Sonic Mania selected and then uncheck the box and check it again.
