Is there a way to swap between Sonic and Tails during sonic and tails play?

I remember one game let you, Sonic 3? Or something, figured they'd add it in.

I sure thought one of the old time sonic games you could change between playing Sonic and Tales with the push of a button, swapping them during play ? Was it the Game Genie doing it way back when? I can't remember. Been a looooongggggg time

I don't remember any Sonic games that let you change between two characters on the fly. There is Sonic heroes that lets you swich characters. :CGspruk:

The Advance series had like 2 that could I believe. Maybe it was just 3? Anyway, yes, Tag Team allows you to switch between the two along with some new abilities.

Nah, you can't really swap between them on the fly. You just get to drag the second character around and occasionally hold B to glue them to the floor. You can swap the second character once between each level though.

no but I believe Sonic Mania Plus will allow you to switch between characters when it comes out next month.

As I'm reading, we will be able to purchase that as DLC to the main game rather than purchasing the game all over again for added on content ?

Sure but people buy the aforementioned fries and drink all the time, at least in the US. And that's like.. 5 minutes of enjoyment tops. I'm sure you could get at least a couple hours out of Plus.

Fries and a Drink will hold you over between that 12-6 wait.. as a snack and a drink. It serves as purpose of keeping you alive . A lot more important than a game.
