Time Attack Leaderboards

Can anyone tell me how the hell people have either__:__:__ or __:__:01 as their top time in the leaderboards for the time attack? There is no way you could be the level in one second with cheats of some kind.

because despite marketing itself as an "anti-tampering tool", denuvo does ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to stop people from cheating their way to the top of the leaderboards

The leaderboards are a sad thing to look at.

At least I managed to get 2nd place one time as Tails and Sonic without cheating. Now its just too much work to do and stressful

it's like in every sonic game on pc, hacked leaderboards and sega not doing anythin

I don't really understand why anyone gives a flying ♥♥♥♥ over the leaderboards though, isn't the point of the time trials to have bragging rights over your friends?

Nothing new, Generations' Leaderboards are the same, in fact, every Sonic/Sega game leanderboard is like this. Don't look at those times, care about only the true times, people that actually played fair and deserved they spot.

it's really hard to care about the legit ones since there is so many hacked ones, there's more than 200 hacked time in green hill zone act 1

Worst Part about this, is that you can just ignore the ones that are __.__.__ and __.__.01 But people can still cheat to get a legitimate but difficult score (Like 42s on studiopolis). So you can never truly find how you stack up to everyone else.

Denuvo does nothing to stop cheaters, and that's probably because this game no longer has Denuvo DRM since it was removed after the initial release.

Denuvo had nothing to do with it in the first place, that's to protect the game from things like piracy. Mods and cheats still exist.

I already said and I will repeat.
It would be much better to have a way to be able to watch the replay publicly for each player and to have a "report" way of giving a flag to SEGA administrators to clean the hanaking manually.
The same problem also occurs in sonic forces.
