Sonic Mania is literally the worst thing since Sonic Boom

Why tf is everyone getting hyped for this piece of garbage? The graphics are extremely bad and the music kinda boring too. What's the point in going back to 2D when 3D clearly worked a LOT better. Just go play Sonic Boom and stop waiting for this terrible game!

Eh screw it even if it is bait I may as well list every reason why this is wrong:

- The spritework is amazing

- The music is top notch

- 2D is classic and arguably works better than 3D (although it's really just preference)

- Nobody would play Sonic Boom over this (except maybe Fire and Ice because that one isn't too bad for what it is)

They even got rid of the cool character designs that came in Sonic Boom. The old ones look really boring meanwhile in Sonic Boom they have all this new stuff like Knuckles being beefy

What? The animations in Boom were pathetic, also you can't say Boom had fast gameplay (anyone like me who actually got everything in it knows it's slow). Boom's OST is easily forgettable.
