out of boredom i've decided to make a story timeline of all the sonic games. it might be wrong it might be imprecise but what ever. anyways here we go

(Edit i'm going to stop putting the new and updated timeline list in my posts i'm just going to edit the first post from now on)

well thats it. if i got something wrong let me know or you want to know why i put it in this order ask and i will try to answer

okay the problem is Metal Sonic. after Sonic CD he reappears in Sonic Triple Trouble Sonic Drift 2 Knuckles Chaotix Sonic The Fighters and Sonic R and we see him under going repairs in Sonic Adventure 1 before his big return in Sonic Heroes. however episode metal shows us what happend to him after Sonic CD and how he figures in to Sonic 4 episode 2 which seems to be his first remach with Sonic. becuase all of the sonic games above have Metal in them and the characters have the classic look (except Sonic Adventure And Sonic Heroes) we have to just assume that there in game aperances don't matter (if you think back to Amy's Flashback To Sonic CD in Sonic Adventure 1 she has her Modern Look) so i gonna leave timeline mostly the same however one more mistake i made is that Episode Metal takes place just before Episode 2 so it will be moved there again so here is the new list

Episode 2 is sequel to CD, because of Little Planet. Episode 1 takes place, let's think that one is not Canon.
Cd should take place after sonic 1, was meant to be like that.

Also Shadow in Battle clearly mentions Maria and doesn't seem to have amnesia.

Last thing: I think Sonic Chronicles can be called noncanon because:It's a RPG spinoff created by outside company (BioWare) and not a single character that debuted in this game is seen in Forces. But I think that this game's ending could definitely inspire Forces with it's plot and setting.
btw. This game had some cool dialog and character interactions.

We may see fans mod Sonic 4 eps 1&2 into mania, but it'd take probably years. All those 3d assets would have to be recreated as 2d assets. I'm not even sure what was planned for Sonic 4 episode 3. I'm not sure if Knuckles was even officially announced for it, or just speculation everyone agreed on because of how likely it seemed.

Considering that episode 1 reuses a lot of old design it won't be a problem, Episode 2 on the other hand...

i never played runner or dash thats why i didn't add them. i thought that they were spin offs with no story after seeing your comment i checked the sonic wiki and Runner does have a storyline involving the Wisps from Sonic Colors so it will be added. i also saw that Sonic Jump has some plot as well since it as a story to it (as light as it is) it will be added. as far as i can tell dash has no story or narrative to it so it just a spin off and it will it will not be added
