I didn't know if it'll be usefull to respond to this. I was wondering if, as asking for a proper sequel had to imply far more than adding a couple of new character in a carbon-copy from the first one.
( Me, too, I was shortly hoping for an Amy/Metal Sonic dlc's, after the SegaSonic Arcade Duo, but well... Maybe this because I'm more a fan of Sonic Cd as a game, and first good animation intro, too, and blah-blah. ^^' )

Speaking of Sonic CD, here is some facts about this, and what, Amy used to comes from an officialized manga, used to be more something like a fangirl, than a girlfriend, but, well, westernization messed-up everything, as usual.
(Now, it became more a kind of a joke.)

Is this a legit thread or another shipper being mad?

Amy Rose in Mania wouldn't be unwelcome (as she was a Classic character) but hopefully she doesn't have the same gameplay as in Sonic Advance.

As for Sally she's not really a video-game Sonic character... she's free to appear in the IDW comics but I'm not sure about letting Sega ruins another character (Blaze being one of them).
