I'm really quite confused about this. Mania Plus was half a year ago and to the wider world it looks like all efforts to monetise the game have ceased unless the depth of the discount in November was a mistake. They don't have any future 2D game in the works that anyone's aware of either.
I mean the animation itself is as charming as ever (I do like the zone transitions) but I can't get over this confusion haha.
I can think of two things that differing potions of the game's buyers have been crying out for.
Putting Amy in an animation doesn't relate to one of them, and practically trolls the other.
In any case I really wouldn't hold out hope for this introducing an Amy DLC. They'd have released it at the same time as the short and mentioned it at the end (like they did with parts 1-5 and Plus).
Not saying they will, or are likely to do it, but it's a possibility.
