Black & White cutscenes and blurry sprites
Hello, so I got this problem after I bought Sonic Mania's DLC, Encore DLC. Everything in the game became somewhat blurry and every single cutscene is now in black and white. Before the DLC was installed on my computer, everything was fine. I already have reinstalled the game. Is there any solution to this bug/issue? Please help. I need help.:torque:

Same here. I even updated my GPU's drivers.

It doesn't even save my video settings. Every time I open up the game, it goes back to this tiny windowed mode.

It's also like that for me. And first I thought that I might have to change a screen filter in video settings, but it just won't work.

I thought it was gonna start in black and white, then go into color when they exited the elevator since they did something similar in the trailer (being in pencil, then going full color when Sonic and Mighty shook hands).

I have almost the same problem. the game looks blurry and the filter change does not work, it always looks the same. As for the animation, it is also seen in black and white

Okay, I found a fix for the black and white issue. Go to Steam>steamapps>common>Sonic Mania, and go into the Settings. Change "shaderSupport" from "n" to "y". Then save the file. The color should be restored.

Visual aid.

I just ran into this issue out of nowhere, and fixed it by deleting Settings.ini in the game's folder (Right Click -> Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files). From there, I was able to switch to fullscreen and everything worked as it should (no blur or black & white intro).

(upon further investigation, it appears my old Settings.ini somehow ended up with "shaderSupport=n", which appears to cause the issue)

Edit: D'oh, ninja'd!

Thanks for helping! There is also "screenShader" and it was at 1 (Clean Shader, which makes things blurry) by me.

Problematically, this keeps happening for me.
It won't stop, almost every time I have opened the game it bugs out again, also having constant crashes.
My DS4 controller no longer connects or works on the game, and causes even more crashes.
It might be from the DS4Windows application but I doubt it since it had worked just fine before Sonic Mania Plus, and worked for a while after the DLC.

Has anyone else experienced this?
