How the hell do i use ray?
Anytime i try to use his power i fly straight to the ground. :steamfacepalm:

Mighty's mobility is lame but he is very newbie friendly btw.

Right makes him curve towards the ground, and left towards the sky (This assumes you're facing right.) Apparently Ray has been kind of hard to get used to but I've already seen some videos of people doing very well as him, so I believe in you! :steamhappy:

Maybe like a caped Super Mario ? - Or these da... deltaplanes ? :Aurion_Wonder: I'm still trying to find out, myself. :engineercat: Thanks if somebody can help, too.

( Ok ...I admit it, I have the same controlling issues here, and I both never been very good at Super Mario, anyway. )

No problems with "heavy" Mighty, either. :engineercat: You're Welcome ! :abs_happy:

Thank you. This is exactly how it works. I kept pressing right playing it as if he were tails.

Ray controls exactly like the handgliders in the Sega Master System's version of Sonic 2. I don't know if it was an intentional nod to that, but for those of us that remember that era, Ray's flight controls seem perfectly natural on a control pad.
I can see new speedrun records being made because of him though, 'cos once you've mastered diving and pulling up to gain speed and height, you can blast through some stages faster than any other character.

Thanks a lot, too. :engineercat: I begin to understand.
( Not easier as it looks, as for myself, but it works anyway. ^^' ...I already said I sucked about controlling these kind of Hang-Glider, like the ones in Sonic 2 - Thanks Konachibi, it was these ones. :abs_happy: )

Gliding ability works quite similar to Super Mario World. Simply press Left/Right button to descend/ascend while gliding mid-air. No need to press Down/Up button.

Ray's ability definitely could have used some instructions. I struggled with trying to figure out how it worked too, and the only explanation I could find was that it controlled like a powerup from a Mario game I haven't played in years. lol. But yeah, looks like people here have explained it well enough already. Holding forward makes him dive, holding back makes him go up. Alternate between the two to catch both air and speed. He's really fun to play once you get the hang of it, especially once you have all the emeralds.

So counter intuitive. Could have been implemented better.

Nice bump. Excellent criticism. What would be better, do you think?
