Stardust Speedlway Act 1 Boss Glitch
So, I've seen this in other games before, but I just had the Mini-boss in Act 1 of Stardust Speedway despawn mid-fight. It rose up off the screen after the giant lasser attack and the mini versions of the boss never spawned in.

Is this a known issue and, if so, how can you avoid this?

This video demonstrates what I am talking about, but I was able to trigger it differently using Sonic and withoutthe Super mode active.
