Really? No physical copy of SM Plus for PC users?
Look, I know that I can buy it on Steam and shut the hell up, but is there really any reason not to have a physical copy? What, am I supposed to look at the art book on internet? No, I want that shiny box, and I want to hold the book....

There is no real point, as the game wouldnt play off of the CD/DVD anyways.

If you really want the Physical Edition for collectable purposes, just pick a console version at random.

Unfortunately, it seems like physical media for PC just isn't really a thing anymore: most PC physical releases I've seen nowadays seem to be glorified Steam/UPlay/Origin/whatever keys.

If you really want the physical goods, you're probably going to have to buy a console release. Partly why I bought the Switch release, plus honestly I'm more likely to be playing Mania on Switch then PC anyhow.

But why not make it a DRM free version which requires a disc to be played? And have an optional Steam code below, which could only be redeemed like any other Steam game that haves a physical copy? That would be the end of the problem, and people wouldn't miss out on anything.

And I don't feel like buying it for a console I don't own, and then wasting more money for the Steam version.

If people dislike Denuvo, they'll hate SecuROM.

They would give away 2 copies by your explaination. Sega wouldn't do that probably.

They wouldnt have used Denuvo if they were going to do a DRM-Free version

Because I also want the bonuses that come with it.

Well, that was the case with my copies of Mirror's Edge and H.A.W.X.....

I would love the option to just buy a genesis-size case (especially since the collector's edition came with a fake cart) with the extras and buy the actual dlc digitally via Steam. I just want the extras.

I'll end up buying a copy for whatever system and making another custom case though, I guess. Even if it feels like a total waste. :steamsalty:

I'd recommend either making your own box or just buying the box off of someone on Ebay.

well it wouldnt make sega money so they wont bother but

buy a console box

take out the DVD
smash it if you want

get a piece of paper and draw the steam logo on it

and glue it on top the playstation/xbox/switch logo
