I hate Oil Ocean and its boss. Any way I can just hack through it. I keep on getting instakilled with rings to nothing. Any way to hack through it. This game is amazing other than this one zone.

Skipping a level without beating it yourself makes the challenge m00t, and makes the enjoyment and satisfaction of actually beating the level lost.

If you can't beat a level, keep trying. Eventually you will memorize your points of challenge, and figure out ways to beat them without problem.

agreed skipping the level would take away the pride you get when you beat it yourself. hard levels are meant to challenge you and you have to overcome those challenges by replaying the level and discovering ways to beat it

if you are lazy (don't let these high-and-mighty zealots get to ya. we are all cheaters at one point or another)
theres such a thing as cheat engine to give you all chaos emeralds. or google sonic mania mod loader. that isnt just for mods, but built-in codes you can use for testing.
as for everyone lecturing this kid, don't. theres nothing wrong with cheating in a single-player game.
some of us just wanna see the whole game. and, to be honest, we all use cheats. let the noob spoil the game for themselves.
if any of you are worried he might be ruining the game by cheating. don't. it's a single player game, and your scores ultimately only matter for yourselves.

I didn't feel an sense of accomplishment from beating that boss, just huge relief because I could actually move on to something new.
