Did that get fixed in the PC version? I tried weeks ago and only now that the anti-Denuvo stress is lowering down did I feel like asking here.

It did, since you have to press a separate key for Super form.

I did try like thrice, unfortunately I wasn't sure if I couldn't do it right or if it was patched.

I actually recently found another super form bug - Super Tails Red (I discovered him by jumping as Tails into the portal that leads to fake "Final Boss", and before you teleport to the boss immediatly use Y to transform into Super Tails. After that he'll be flashing in red colors while fighting the "Final Boss").

Funny... I think I triggered that by accident in my & Knuckles playthrough. I even took a screenshot. It was like, Super Knuck with his 3&K normal palette. I even took a screenshot.
