Knuckles gliding ability in both form problem
On Sonic and knuckles 3, Knuckles can glide as fast as long as he stays up on the air on one direction especially on his super form. Then on his super form, he can create an earth-quake by hitting other walls with super speed. What happen to his abilities in Sonic Mania on why he couldn't have those abilities? does he only have them on the console or did his ability got removed?

Well in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Knuckles used the super emeralds to become "hyper" knuckles, in Mania, it's regular chaos emeralds so he is just super Knuckles

Right. Without super knuckles. We just needed the speeds that he'll be flying with. He's too slow when he's super.
