I've also unlocked all gold medals and the starpost blue sphere is completely pointless now.
Unlockable blue spheres is nice, but as far as I can tell you're given less options with it than Sonic 1 locked onto Sonic & Knuckles gave you. That game let you enter passwords to play specific stages and junk.
You go into Steam/steamapps/common/Sonic Mania
Open settings.ini with notepad
Type devMenu=y under [Games], then file-save.
Press Esc anytime in the game to open the developer menu.
As it is, I guess the only point of entering Bonus Stages now is to come out of Super mode - and even then, there's no point whatsoever in *completing* the stage.
