How do you enter debug mode in the PC version?

I find it really frustrating to have to search it up on google because all the results I get are for the console versions. I did put PC in the search, yes, but google is stupid.

debug mode is only accessible in no save mode :)

You also need to have enough medals to unlock it.

I forgot how many, to get medals you need to beat the Bonus Stages found by hitting a checkpoint with more than 20 rings (I think). To get the medal you need to collect all the blue spheres but to get the gold medal you need all rings then all spheres (getting all spheres but not all rings gives a silver medal).

Well how many medals do u have

I have all of them, that's why I forgot how many you need.

i think 8 to 16 silver medals
and With debug active you press Q to start debug

This might have been 4 years ago but you can use debug mode on save files.

without medals, you can go to the settings.ini file in game files
set devMenu from n to y (no to yes)
then anywhere, press escape key to access the developer menu
navigate: options > debug flags > set debug mode to y (by pressing right)
it resets to n every time you die or enter a new act
you can now access and exit it with the [· del] key on the numpad

still trying to figure out which keys are to switch items
(i pressed every key on my keyboard)

anyway you spawn in debug mode as a ring and you can move left, down, up, right, yadayadayada its debug mode
place the ring using [R] key which is my aux. key so maybe you press [R] or your aux. key
and thats all i know... wait have i ever thought about left and right clicking to change the item

anyway ye thats all i know so far E

Enable debug mode, and press delete button + jump button in no save mode.
