Just got to give people time to figure out how more of the game works under the hood. Awaiting the Metal Sonic mod that's being worked on at Sonic Retro, myself.
That's because people would rather parrot crap they read online than do their own research. It only takes a quick loot at MGSV's modding community to see how much you can do even if a game is protected by Denuvo.
Just updated the first post with a video of the chibi mod in action and released two new mods: one to remove the button prompt for the Super transformations that seems to be a common complaint, and a personal one that removes the effects of the Hyper Ring powerup on the HUD since the Mod Loader got updated and has a cheat option to always have it enabled.

1) Beatz released their chibi one first about a day after release, but it was only Sonic and is the entire exe file with a few pointers changed.
2) TSININY released the one you linked to a few days later, which had Sonic, Tails and Knuckles and was a repackage of the Data.rsdk file (I think? Though they seem to have made a Mod Loader version now), but they didn't copy over and rename the files for Chibi Tails' tails, so he's bugged and has his normal version ones in some animations.
3) I released mine even later, on the day the Mod Loader was out, but it doesn't have the problem with Tails' tails and I gave a fair warning that it shouldn't be used in regular play, only with a completed save file or the Mod Loader's always-on debug mode cheat.
I'm trying to keep a leg up on the others, too; I'm toying around with the modding tools available to try and fix Tails and Knuckles not being able to transform, and see if I can add sprites for missing animations so they don't break on some of the level gimmicks.
This doesn't change the fact that it's there to break the game. It's not doing you any service.
Also, as for my lack of personal research on this particular implementation, you may have glossed over the parts where I refuse to either pay for Denuvo or pirate this game. Thus I have nothing to do such research on, even if it were feasible within weeks (it's not, as there's no telling how many places the Denuvo code has modified).

Studipolis Act 2 Noise Removal

Almost forgot I had this thread to post my mods here. This is part of some small quality-of-life improvements I'm making for myself just to squash the few tiny problems I have with Mania, but I had seen at least a few complaints about these sounds around and figured this was worth sharing.
