Cant Go Super Sonic

Im playing on PC i have all 7 emeralds, when i collect 50 rings and double jump (Ive tried both A and S and even tried doing S once and A the second and vice versa) I still cant turn super? anyone know why?

I know when they updated yesterday they made it so that you can double jump like normal but a jump and then Y on the xbox controller turn you super. They added this info to the top right of the screen when you have 50 rings, perhaps your not hitting the correct keyboard letter that would corrispond to the Y press on the controller?
