In some seriousness, you'd be better off with nearly ANY other AV program (that actually is an AV program, anyway).
Are you local admin to your PC? If so you should be able to add it as an exception. If not you need to fetch your ~ahem~ Sysadmin.
Mozilla recommends against 3rd party antivirus, probably because many of them have broken Firefox.
You can also excise McAfee as so-empowered user. That's what I'd prolly do. Uninstall it and get maybe Avast (the free version).
You'll have less problems overall.
Well, after solving for McAfee, I'd wager you'd have to re-acquire the game files afterwards.
A pain, but such is life with Crazy McAfee.
If your too cheap for all that, tell macfee to let the game run and save the settings.
