Exactly, it's just having the option in your saved game instead of NO Save, it's not dirty cheating.

It's really kind of dumb the game let's you unlock it... but doesn't let you use it in a mode you'll actually play.

I feel like No Save Mode is for people who want the challenge of a No Save Run and see how well they do or if they are pro players, speedrunning, but I just don't see the point of locking the extra things just to that mode, very silly IMHO.

oh and cheat engine is a memory editor, the only reasons it askes for an EXE is a pointer.

A sprite change by changing values in the exe file and saving changes to the exe file, the exe is editable with a hex editor :O

which was done to get offline playability before the official patch

if you can edit the exe with a hex editor, than the argument that Denuvo doesn't allow the exe data to shift or change is invalid! I could replace Tails with Sucks and it would save, though it might crash the game. Then there are the offline/online bytes.
