0xc000007b is usually caused by a 32-bit DLL being loaded into a 64-bit executable or vice-versa.

If you're on a 64-bit OS, you probably at one time or other installed or copied something into your Windows/System32 folder which shouldn't be there.

more than likely this is caused by Denuvo.

There are tools that could assist you in tracing the DLLs loaded by the game and mark the offending one. Sadly Denuvo blocks them from working.

What about Dependency Walker?

Iirc Denuvo prevents it from working the way it should. I think Kaldeien explained it in more detail once, while troubleshooting a user's installation of another Denuvo-protected title.

Klaudi 29 AGO 2017 a las 16:27
Tried to install/reinstall redistributable that's in the game folder? Maybe that will help.
Sonic 29 AGO 2017 a las 16:33
Yep, nothing.

(sorry for any mistakes in writing, im from Brazil)YOU DONT NEED TO INSTALL THE DLL, if you are using win 7 you have to check if you have the service pack 1 installed, if not you can search on youtube how to make it work, its simple, i found in this video how to install it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdJRDzXeqK8, after installing it you HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR MICROSOFT C++ 2015 IS WORKING (it may appear on the installed programs but re install by yourself) you can find the microsoft c++ right IN THE GAMES FOLDER, GO TO STEAM APPS AND SONIC MANIA, (THE USUAL GAME FOLDER THAT CONTAINS THE STEAM GAMES) GO ON THE PASTE "VCREDIST" AND INSTALL BOTH, THE X86 AND X64, DOWNLOAD DE GAME AGAIN AND IT WILL WORK, THE SERVICE PACK 1 REQUIRES TO UPDATE THE WINDOWS (ITS REALLY SIMPLE)
