i'm pretty much expecting about the same system requirements as sonic cd
I wouldn't, as that port was handled by DotEmu and it's a completely different beast anyway.
Still, it shouldn't be too hard to run this one correctly.
I dont do wine, so NO! and I dont have windows copy and never will run it on virtual box!

Well, you chosed Linux, a system with unlimited possibilites, which will also grant a some sort workaround for emulation. Well, a bit limited for heavy games, like maybe Fallout 4 or DOOM.
I actually tried once to launch 20XX via Wine in Debian Virtual Machine, but it seems like everything went south, because the game stuck on top of the screen and stretched everything to the center. That was mess.
