Undying! and Live Fast, Die! Achievements
Are these achievements possible to miss? I am at the second stage of the future, and my death counter is way above 4000, and timer is above 7 hours, does that mean I need a new save file for these achievements?

yea just start a new save file and run through the game. It isn't hard once you know all the stages.

I accidentally got Live Fast, Die when I was going for Undying. I finished the game with something like 400 deaths, but still got a time of 1:25 or something.

So if you're going for both of them, you really, really don't need to worry about time. When I got Undying at 158 deaths, my time was 1:08.

A tip, though: Go for tumors and mega tumors as much as you can in The End, and then just pick up tumors that are on the way as you progress through the rest of the game. I'd generally get to the Future with 50-70, and if you need more than that, you're going to be dying too much anyway.

BTW what is meant by "complete the main game"? Only The Past? Because I would rather eat my own genitals than try The Future at under 200 deaths

It includes the future. It isn't as bad as it sounds, though. Your first time through, you'll definitely die a ton. But in my experience, the more you die on a screen, the better you'll learn it.

Going for Undying, most of my deaths were definitely from the Future, but that eventually lead to me knowing exactly how I was most comfortable navigating every little obstacle. I'd say, if you want to shoot for it, don't worry about the achievement. Just do full runs, over and over, until you get sub-200. The goal is to build up that familiarity with the difficult areas, and if you were to just restart or give up whenever you go over, then you won't be learning the more difficult areas later on.

"Complete the main game" does mean finish Acceptance.

I recommend not worrying too much about the Past. Without too much practice, I was able to finish the Past in about 50 deaths. Go for a few easy Mega Tumors in the early chapters, and grab Tumors when it's convenient.

As for the Future, practice each chapter and work on any spots that are frustrating. If you can complete each chapter in the Future in about 30-50 lives, you should be fine. I wouldn't recommend playing the entire game over and over until you get good at it, like Shadowspaz did. Just focus on individual chapters using your main profile when practicing.

Also, do the Undying achievement first, because chances are you'll complete the game in under an hour and a half without even trying. Saves a lot of time. My Undying run was at 164 deaths and 1:20 completion time, with about 114 of those deaths coming from the Future.

To each their own. I've started preferring that approach in games like this, because the vast majority of the time, my deaths would come from hype. I'd drill an area over and over, but then during the run, it becomes "real." I'd choke.

Here, though, it's just another run. All runs are just additional runs. It's just playing through the game, same as always.

It helps me to stay calm and not worry about anything. And staying calm is definitely going to make you play better.
Thanks for the info guys.
