WTF ? This game is sooo hard.

Is this game intended to be played by "progamers" only ?

I mean, I enjoyed and finished Super Meat Boy.

But I find this one excruciatingly hard... I died a hundred times on The End 16, which I still haven't gone through, and this is just the 1st world.

What is the point in making it so hard? Or am I that bad?

I don't know. i died something like 30 deaths though The End. Guess it depends on the person. I went back and died more though, trying to get the tumors.

Thanks man, I had seen that on the other topic and it helped me.

Anyway, it turns out my performances on my laptop were too low, so that's what made it really hard. I turned the antialiasing off and I'm going through the game much better now.

But I really shouldn't have to turn that off on a game like this really...

If you've played through SMB I really don't know why you're having trouble with the first world of this one.

It's not even close to being too hard. You're just bad. First world is really easy unless you try 100% complete it.

Mm I would say so far it's pretty on par with meat boy, although I'd admit the difficulty curve is certainly steeper here. Meat boy had a lot of easy levels at the beginning.

But meat boy also has cotton alley, and some of the warp zones/glitch zones that are borderline impossible. So far haven't reached anything quite that challenging yet but I'm sure it gets there.
