What happened to Team Meat?

This game seems so close to Super Meat Boy that I'm surprised Tommy isn't involved. What happened there? Why even make this a new IP when it seems so similar to Meat Boy?

Personally, I think this looks much better than Meat Boy. Looking at the control alone makes me more excited to play this than SMB.

i mean the only thing this and meat boy have in common is being able to call themselves a "hard platformer" honestly. this game has 600+ levels, meat boy has like 100 something, this game has voice acting, meat boy does not, this game seems to have water levels, meat boy does not and we know all that from a few tweets and teaser trailer. i guess you could argue that the art style is similar, and yea the devs are the same, but this looks like something entirely new expect for the genre of game. and i mean where can you go wrong with more hard platformers

Ed and Tyler are working on 0uroboros, which is a surrealist platformer that's basically Time Fсuk 2, but due to difficulties, they decided to experiment with a short and simple basic platformer in the meantime. It exploded into TEIN. Tommy's working on SMB:F and just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around right now.
