Do you have the "Disable Acoustic Echo Cancellation (could help with recognition)" option on the "Recognition" tab of the VoiceAttack options window enabled (checked)? It should be by default, but it's worth making sure.
Nahimic is audio "enhancement" software that may be installed with certain sound cards (including those built into motherboards).
The warning you are seeing is to alert you of the fact that that software can potentially interfere with the microphone signal getting to the speech recognition engine correctly.
If there is software to configure your soundcard installed (there may be an icon for it in the system tray, next to the clock, though you may need to click the arrow to show all icons), try disabling any "enhancement" or filter settings for the microphone.
All that does assume you're actually using that sound card to connect your microphone, rather than a USB connection.
You'll want to take a look at this thread, as it's helped many over the years - https://forum.voiceattack.com/smf/index.php?topic=1635.0
Hoping you've just got something simple going on that that needs configuration.
