It looks like you've installed the standalone (non-Steam) version of VoiceAttack from the website. What you'll want to do is uninstall that version and then install VoiceAttack from the Steam client. The Steam version of VoiceAttack does not require a registration key (and actually doesn't even require the Steam client after you run it the first time).
Hope that helps!
The Steam version of VoiceAttack (delivered from the Steam client) does not require a registration key, and has no place to put a registration key.
The standalone version of VoiceAttack (the version that is downloaded directly from VoiceAttack.com) requires a registration key, since it's not using the Steam client. When you run this version, it asks for the key if it is not registered.
Sometimes people will purchase VoiceAttack from Steam and then proceed to download VoiceAttack from the website (and not from the Steam client). When they run VoiceAttack, it's asking for the key.
The reason this is pinned is because I occasionally get emails just like this post - pinned items are here to hopefully help folks so they don't have to type up an email or a new message.
