Voice recognition language problem

Hey. I ran into a little problem. I'm living in switzerland and my current windows (7 home edition) doesn't let me change the language of the windows voice recognition, which is stuck on german and I'd need a program that recognizes english. Is there anything I can do about it without having to upgrade my operating system? A 3rd party voice recognition engine or smth?

You'll want to take a look at alternate speech engines for VoiceAttack: http://www.voiceattack.com/alternate In there you'll probably find a good match for you. Just two small files to install and you don't even have to train it up. Hope that helps!

Yea I've tried that already, for some reason it kept me from installing the SR and TTS. I've ordered windows 10 now, that should work out. Thanks anyway for your answer :)
