yes my 1st rental residence in heidel is gone, it may be due to clicking get residence in hiedel in another spot in hiedel

We are aware of these issues and we hope to have them fixed in a future update. Meanwhile, if you encounter furniture in the mansion that you cannot move, swapping channels should fix it temporarily.

I'd like to have a residence in each town. How about removing the 5 house limit? Does pearl abyss know how much money they'd make from selling pearl shop furniture if they allowed unlimited residences? I've spent a couple hundred dollars buying furniture for my Grana residence alone.

You can get more than 5... Look for the quest in the heidel inn

I have 6 residences due to a quest in velia... so off to Heidel in I go! I wonder if this is a thing in every city?

As a BDO casual player I'd rather buy my residence vs renting. I think if they followed Elder Scrolls Online "Residence purchasing" template, it would make BDO's developer and player base happy. In ESO, your character can buy any residence, from Inn Rooms(for cheap), up to Apartments, Small Homes, Medium Homes, Large Homes, and finally some really beautiful large spacious Manors(which are not cheap) and all can be purchased as furnished or unfurnished. For those players that don't mind the "grind", they achieve a deep sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. ESO also offers homes for sale in their "in-game store" (for real money). This option is for players that want the convenience of bypassing the "grind". Hopefully BDO will consider offering the bigger and luxurious homes for sale in their "Pearl Shop" in the future? Here's hoping :)

Its a friggin VIDEO GAME. Why are you charging me 1,000,000 a day to decorate something FOR ME?!
Here is an idea: How about instead of wasting our time with something that you just want to force players to play your game to keep, you get to work on putting out A LOT more instanced co-op dungeons; AND BALANCE THE ONES YOU CURRENTLY RELEASED THAT ARE ALMOST UNBEATABLE.

When you listen to every noob that plays you repeat WoW's mistakes. However AS A DECORATOR I won't be participating in this "Manor" nonsense. Failed idea and waste of resources from BDO... Ill take my Grana 4 over this manor anyday.
