just got game was looking to start on seasonal server for my first run. But I see that seasonal ends in about 2 weeks, so should I wait until new season to start?

I would start right now, there is an accessory available at level 20 through a quest line from the Black Spirit that is equivalent to a TET Accessory, you can get one PEN Capotia accessory per season! If you do decide to get the accessory, I recommend getting the PEN Capotia Ring first. I recommend getting a head start now so you can benefit from the rewards and then create a new seasonal character for the next season that will start in April.

As a legitimately new player, you're too late to really benefit from the current season (unless you live in BDO for those two weeks, you likely won't make PEN Tuvala gear, except maybe the ring for reaching level 60) . I'd say create a throwaway character, get them to level 20 and get that PEN Capotia accesory like Frozio suggested.

Beyond that, over the next couple of weeks, run a Sage on Olvia (new player) servers. It's a new class that gets some goodies for just existing and for reaching certain level milestones. Whatever of those you can get, good for you!

When the next season rolls around, start a season character of whatever class you want to be your long-term main character.

Yes, get that once in a lifetime belt.
I suggest making the season your main's class so you know how to kill things for the 1k weekly. (friends/guildies can help in non season servers)
Cron your main weapon if succession to pen, or awakening if woke. Then pen your off-hand to convert into a sub weapon (end game pve piece you will need).

So your main if new should be rocking full oasis gear, quest accessories and your weapon should be a pen seasonal (7-8 ap dif from a tri oasis weapon), pen seasonal off-hand (it's a tet kutum), with pen capotia belt. Capotia earring and ring from being level 61 (chenga tomb.. google it for easy way to level from 59-61 without grinding to get capotia is 100% worth it).

So... make a seasonal. Quest til your quest armor is all pen (main quest gear pen is converted to seasonal pri).. do weekly quest (naga or fogans or bandits) select whatever material you think you need to get one weapon to pen. (just don't pick 600x timeless, because this is the easiest material to farm).

If you did main quest on main, and have questing gear - it is tranferrable (red ring, kama neck, kama earrings) tldr if you are not 1 shotting mobs in seasonal you are prob doing something wrong.

use timeless/refined to hit tri.. use that fs to hit tet.. if fail refine back to tri and do it again... then cron to pen (with your 60fs reward from hitting tet). every piece of gear gives u these failstacks for a reason lol.

everyones goal on fresh seasonal is typically a pen necklace (25 ap valued at 3billion)
then towards the end, or they rage quit.. you just make whatever you need (like if you don't have tet kutum you make an off-hand) or if there is a tet piece you want to sell for 1bil (like a tet kutum off hand you would replace it with a pen seasonal off-hand and sell the tet kutum).
but majority of veterans will say use pen seasonal and just roulette ur main tet gear to pen OR use seasonal convert as a free pen attempt then toss the item if it fails LOL
