How to find your friends?

Me and a friend bought this and for the life of us can't find my friend.
How do you meet up with people? I added my friend and even grouped with them but couldn't find them for the life of me.

You can use the Find Party/Platoon option.
This option allows you to create a Party/Platoon as well.
You both need to be in the same Region (NA, EU, SEA, etc....) and on the same Server (Seasonal1, Seasonal2, Valencia1, Valencia2, to name 4 servers out of many).
NOTE: Seasonal Characters can be on both the Seasonal and Regular Servers, but Normal Characters can only be on the Regular Servers.

EDIT: When you're partied up.
Change your chat to Party.
In Chat LMB the word, it's probably "General".
A list of options will appear.
Choose Party.
Both of you will need to do that.
When you're both done with the Party.
Change it to something else of your choosing.
