Put whatever you can in a city or town inventory.
Put it in several city or town inventories if one does not have the room.
Make sure you look at your pearl inventory tab and family inventory.
They can go into city or town inventories as well.
Sell any junk loot to a vendor.
Put the silver you have on your character into the Central Market warehouse.
If you have any outfits that you bought go to a blacksmith and convert them to cron stones.
Put the cron stones in a city or town inventory.
The reason why you do this is outfits are bound to characters. None of your other characters can use it.
EDIT: When I write outfits, I mean Pearl Shop outfits. Not minor quest driven the free ones. The minor free ones you will have to delete.
Once your character is 100% empty, then delete them.
It takes about a full real life day for the deletion to complete.
