Seasonal vs Normal servers?
new player wanting to do pvp should i start with a seasonal character or start with a normal character?

Seasonal character will get you to "softcap" gear much quicker than a normal character. Seasons were introduced to expedite the gearing process for new players. Years ago it could have taken you quite some time to get to softcap with gear, but now it's much easier. With a maxed out Tuvala set (V every slot) you're looking at about 240Attack Power/290Defense Points(ish), which is more than enough for Tier 1 Node Wars (NW). Most T1NW guilds recruit around 530 GearScore+ (GS) Gearscore is calculated by Adding Attack Power + Defense Points. Bear in mind if aren't already aware BDO's gear system can be an extremely huge turn off for many people. Do some research and if you still want to dabble with Season char, I would roll an easy class like Guardian or Warrior. If you go hard you can hit softcap in 2-3 weeks. If you casual it maybe 3-4 months. Either way, Season Char def the way to go for new player

If i switch to normal servers does my seasonal character transfer to a normal character?

No, you can only play that Season char on Season Servers until you graduate. After graduation that character can only play outside of Season Servers. I would strongly suggest staying with Season server because there is no PVP on those channels, except for the one that says PVP. Feel free to add me and I can explain more I don't mind at all.

You can play seasonal characters on any server. However I suggest sticking to seasonal servers bc of the exp rate is higher than nornal.

Seasonal. PvP in black desert is terrible. Its about 80% gear based 15% network and 5% actual skill. Honestly there is no reason to ever go over to the normal servers.

oh so is it easier to pvp in seasonal as well as learn how to pvp?
