Is There a way to disable Black Spirits Rage?
Really horrible visual effect!! Is there any way to completely disable it? I mean I don't see this on anyone else! Does it disappear later on at a higher level? I mean its a darn nuisance.

are you sure its the rage and not a skill addon?
the rage is a pretty subtle effect but one of the buffs from the addons is a pretty ugly effect

its a sort of swirling red/black mess around me. And if I hit Z to get rid of it i get covered in a mist ball for a while. What I don't understand is I don't see this on anyone else!

Does this rage thing disappear later on? I really can't stand it, it's really horrible. Whats the point in costumes if you are covered in a red/black mess?

generally a useful buff if you have the time to activate it

It stays, if it really bugs you just use a skill that uses it.
Also, you only see it on yourself if I recall correctly.

I will probably just give up playing lol. I really hate it. I mean its truly the most stupid thing I have ever seen. Even as a trader or alchemist you have a stupid red/black haze around you every few minutes. I mean really. Which total idiot thought that one up?

Thanks but it doesn't work. It just seems to disable the skills being used, it doesn't disable the crazy black smoke. I think unfortunately I am just coming to the conclusion this game isn't for me. I really dislike the key combinations to activate skills, and this smoke is just the final straw. I will try again today but really might just give up altogether.

Try using a skill that uses the black spirit rage first or transfer it to another player, then lock it and see. The smoke is only there if its at 100%

I did and unfortunately it is still present. It just charges back up and reappears when it gets to 100%. Honestly it strikes me as a really strange decision to add an effect like that, that can't be disabled. It completely undermines buying costumes and following trades such as horse trainer, fisherman and so on. Why would you want a battle effect covering your character when you are fishing? Especially since you can't see this on other characters, why on earth would you want to see it on your own? It just makes no sense. Ah well. Like I said, I am afraid this might be the final straw for me. I had plans on trading, horse breeding and so on, but it seems completely insane to be covered in an annoying black mist all the time. Especially when from my perspective no one else is! More fool you BDO because I was going to spend some money on the game today.... I'm not now.

Lol! Well, it's not just that. I also don't like the key combinations for the combat. I had decided that I would concentrate on the life skills, so I find it especially annoying that I am followed around by this black haze!
