Horse and water ?

Hello,

I just started bdo, obtained a tier 5 horse, tamed my first one from a quest, bought full armor set for horse...

I have one question:

What happend to my horse, while it dived to water by accident from jumping by a cliff where i couldn't see a river from there ?

I retrieved it from the horsemen npc, it just sayd it was in bad condition, so i payed 15000.

I mean did it teleport directly to a safe point ?

It didn't die, it's a good point, now i know horses can swim, even with someone on them back ( i did some horse riding, and hiking for few days we had to cross water time to time, and even during hollidays, we was swiming with horses by sea.)

Is it possible in game a horse die from water ?

If you paid the stablekeeper to recover it's condition, it should be in that stable.

If it happens again that you get into water with your horse and your character can get on to dry land relatively quickly. You can try to call your horse to you (if it's close enough) and prevent it from drowning. This can work even if it's a steep embankment. To call it you just left click the horse icon on your UI.

It won't always work though. My donkey once got stuck in some shallow water and had to be recovered at a stable.

Once you jumped into the water, it died if you didn't get it out from the water.

I was on a quest and the autopathing did a sudden right turn into a river, and my horse drowned. I was too surprised to react, and because it autopatched, for a moment I thought the horse would be able to swim. Nope. the horse stood there on the bottom of the river, calmly blowing bubbles, and then it keeled over.
