Help me return to old menu screen in game

when the new menu design came out there was a long rectangular Advertisement bar located at the bottom of the menu that said something along the lines of " there are new items click here to see the new menu layout to preview them..." so i clicked it and it wont let me return back to how it was before hand. On my boyfriends computer he is able to just click a button that lets him revert back to the old one but i dont have that,

i'd be fine with staying with the new one if i knew how to view the events and updates in the new menu but i cant seem to find that.

can someone help me either way

when you press ESC, top right corner you have 4 suqres in shape of square, press that and you will have old menu :)

that doesnt work you know when you are on your character, then you press esc and it bring up a menu screen on the left hand side of the screen, that has options like character, life, server, such and such normally there is a option to change back to the old menu on the upper portion of the menu but this time when i had changed it, that option was not there.
