Lag during combat?

I had been playing around on a wizard and I noticed combat lag at times, but thought maybe it was just something in the game or class that I wasn't used to yet. But then I rolled a warrior, or whatever the male is with a sword and shield, and in combat hits aren't registered for several seconds. It's not like 500ms or anything, it feels more like 2000ms.

Once I saw this, I noticed that chatting with an NPC for a quest sometimes requires extra time. I play other MMO's like Destiny 2, WoW, GW2, COD pvp, etc and never notice lag at all.

I made sure I chose an NA server so I really don't know what to do.

I run BDO on lower graphic settings so as to have performance over eye-candy.

What you're experiencing, it gets like that sometimes.
When it happens to me....
01) I change servers while in-game and see if that helps.
02) I log out of BDO, reboot my computer, and log back in, in a different server and see if that helps.
03) Sometimes my ISP is having issues, so until they fix it, my BDO day became a login get rewards and logout day.
