How do I change language to English?

Basically, I'm in SOuth America right now, but my country's language is Dutch. THe only options i have are Spanish and Portuguese. Any way to download an english language pack or something? The guide seems outdated because one of the links is dead

Game picks languages based off the region your in. You may be out of luck if what you want isn't a supported language

That's unlucky. I had hoped things would change after PA took over.

@FrostySkipper go to the official website of the game in the support section and open a private ticket where you explain your problem .

"Maybe" the support staff will manage to solve this bizarre and recurring problem over time.

The choice of language should not be such a limited function in use for this game , if it is present in the list of languages in the steam store also yours , or at least select one that you understand .

Normally , from the game launcher at the top right symbol of A GEAR and you select/set the language most congenial to you .

In steam this is proposed on the page of their store dedicated to the game of Black Desert Online , you can take advantage in the game of one of the following languages present by selecting it .

I have the same problem after like 2 years it havent been solved.
My region is Argentina but idk spanish so I cant understand anything and when I wanna change my language it only have portuguese and latin. WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

Your only option is to play the game from their own launcher outside of steaem

The region locking is steam not PA, you used to be able to play any region and use any language but then steam changed it's policies and region locked everyone to where they setup their steam accounts, so unfortunately if you want to play BDO in any region outside of your steam region, you have to play via PA's website where you can not only choose your language but any region you want :)
