False positive?

Hey! I was updating Black Desert today, when steam told me that there was "disk write error" while updating. Turns out that my anti virus found that "Pers.exe" is a Trojan, and that lead to me not being able to update. I did verify the files and after that updating worked. Is this false positive or is the file something I should be concerned of?

pers.exe is BDO's error reporting service, it's been causing false positives since it's introduction
