In that case, you must know that F-Secure also put the file into quarantine. You should also contact this software company

reporting back that even after full re-install of the game it's still not working to play it. I can start the launcher but then it says that "blackdesert32.exe is corrupted try to delete and rescan" same error as before and it won't let me play the game at all.

actually after whitelisting the full folder and restarting then uninstalling and then re-downloading and instlalling the full game. I got that error about bad blackdesert32.exe but then i tried one more time to delete that from the bin folder then pressing the scan files button on the launcher and that did the trick!

I'd whitelisting the folder, i'd whitelisting in Avira. I reinstalled the game. Always the same error of writing on the disk. Now, when i check the entire folder, nothing appears, like the game doesn't exist in the folder. Steam says he's installed but nothing in the folder. Weird.

I experienced the same issue and what fixed it for me was a combo of changing my download region and file download location. This was after completely reinstalling failed to resolve the issue.

CONFIRMED: In Order To Fix The Issue, You Need First completely uninstall BDO from your Drive(not the Steam Cloud Data) and delete its folder completely.

Then you need White-list the Download Folder For BDO and the actual BDO Folder, THEN Restart your PC Before Downloading the game.

Thanks for the info. This is ridiculous and should have been fixed esp for slower networks.
