Not Found GameOption.txt

Hi I wanted to start playing Black Desert Online today. I bought the game and I downloaded the game no problem. I started the game and message box pops out: Not found C:USER\PICTURES\PROGRAM FILES\ DOCUMENTS\BLACK DESERT\GameOption.txt So basically I payed the game but I cannot even play it...

That is a really weird path it generated...

First check to see if that path actually exists by trying to navigate to it.
Then go to Documents\Black Desert and see if GameOption.txt exists there.
See if you can move the contents of Documents\Black Desert\ to C:USER\PICTURES\PROGRAM FILES\ DOCUMENTS\BLACK DESERT\

If that path doesn't exist try creating it and moving everything there and see if that works.

I downloaded the game to my hdd but my user folders on C. GameOption.txt does not exist in the documents folder in the first place I dont understand why. I decided to delete the game from steam and downloaded from website. After downloading from web GameOption.txt is in the folder route like I said but the problem still not solved. I am really iritated with this issue.

Create GameOption.txt file in wherever you installed BDO. I had the same issue and it works fine after i created that txt file in my D:\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackDesert. I hope it helps.

i did all that but still there is a problem my path is complicated C/Users/rhmoo/OneDrive/?????????/Black Desrt and i cant find the ????????? file plus u cant name an file with symbol

This issue still persists, and although it is a relatively easy fix, they do not care to fix it or their Support team do not understand how it impacts players and does not mention it to the relevant people.

There is a registry hack, but as always when doing stuff in registry
backup your registry file and do it at your own risk.

See the registry hack in my response above. If you are comfortable with that, go ahead.

The support team told me there is nothing they can do to help.

I can confirm the registry hack works but I do not know what changes it may bring to all other software using the same folder. So far so good. In any case do it at your own risk.

The antivirus can fix the problem .make sure you give permissions to the game .
