Worth to start in 2025?

I know the game is only 1$ but is there anything else would need to buy to enjoy the game to fullest extent?

You get the whole game for 1$.
The DLC's that are sold are not really DLC's but rather items that can be used in-game.
Even when PA (Pearl Abyss) does expansion updates, you still get it all.

You just need time.

Nothing else to buy. -- I got the Steam version for free years ago the first day it was available here. I have two other P.C main accounts outside from Steam I've been playing for ten years plus.

They keep throwing out those packages like it's a big deal. Ignore them. You now get 15 free SUB days to full access ( use to be 30 Days). After the fifteen days your account defaults to a regular free account, where you will have less inventory spaces, weight, etc. But it's not a hard hit.

The biggest issue with Black Desert today is that it seems to be losing momentum. I worry that online players might drift away as the developers focus more on milking the game rather than completing the world of Black Desert to its full potential.

this game isnt worth your time but id recommend looking at a youtube video on important cash shop items, if you really mean -enjoy- the game and potentially for a longer period the tent is a must have item i think it was like $40 when i got it. the game splits down 2 paths, endless mob grinder or afk/overnight lifeskilling to gear up end game and enjoy pvp. so anything that makes either of those more efficient and tolerable will increase the longevity for you.
