Current Loyalties Reset and System Revamp

Attention, PA wants to take away your loyalties.

On April 30th, PA will reset loyalties shop again. My simple question is: why?
The fact that I have over 200k loyalties is solely because 99% of the items in loyalties are garbage. If you want us to spend our loyalties, add valuable rewards: captain's medallions, fences, theiah's orbs, mount skill change coupons, more worker slots, warehouse slots in new cities, more family inventory slots, more crystal slots, more weight, etc.
This is how it should look (and this is how it looks in other mmo). Loyalty shop was supposed to be an alternative to item shop for those players who for various reasons can't make purchases in IS.

I think alot of ppl agree that the current loyalty shop is awful
so them having an event with the loyalty shop before remaking it might be a good thing

my fear is that they will remove (or change for the worse) the 2 things that are good in the loyalty shop

Yes, changes are needed, but they shouldn't involve removing existing loyalties or forcing players to spend their current loyalties.
Last time I could and did buy 10 character slots, now I can't because there's a limit of 1 per month!
