Not for the pity pieces, but for the silver.
Up until about 6 months ago, I got 3 full pieces there from several months of grinding, but after that only pity pieces drop.
I suspect PA (Pearl Abyss) made the drop rates for the full pieces more difficult to get now.
I didn't get a single full pot piece there at all, but I know several people who did.
As for the Infinite Mana Pot.
I have yet to get a full pot piece at Navarn Steppe or at Manshaum.
It is the fate of the RNG God.
Just take a deep breath, sigh, and be glad one can at least get a pity piece quest once a week. 😊
Out of 6 ingredients I got 2: ronaros and tshira, remaining 4 are 4x100 pity pices. It's worth adding that 100 of navarn steppe took me 3 months because I didn't get almost any from skinning and I used over 10,000 energy and obtain .... 14 pity. And they weren't available from drops then so I only have a weekly quest as option.
I spent more than 50 hours in aakman. Always during drop event and always with drop scrolls. I still don't have a single part of the compass.
I lvl up (whole exp) from 62 to 63 (so everyone knows how long it takes) on waragons during treasure events and .... I didn't get a single part of the map.
I killed over 20,000 mobs in thornwood forest and obtain .... one pity lung.
Conclusion is simple: the entire treasure system is pointless and disrespectful of the time of the players, i.e. your consumers.
And it should work like this: throughout game, in each zone, only one type of pity pices should drop and after collecting 100, they should be exchanged for any part of the treasure.
It's one thing if you're at 160 AP and less than 300 DP and wish to do Tshira ruins for challenge, but once you're 250+ AP or worse 270+ AP and are forced to spend hours and hours at 140 AP spots is soul wrenching.
This is supposed to be a game, and games are supposed to be fun. Progression should be something we can do for fun, not a job.
Not like what was done before, in an event, where one extra location for each pity piece was added, but rather 5 or 6 extra locations for each piece.
for up to
20b
I feel like the spots are going to be even more fought over than they already are
kagtums right now is already nice money/h thanks to the crystals you can make there
crescent shrine is equal in money to centaurs already and that one is going to have a pity piece
same with cadry after the rescent respawn changes
and if you are in a spot that is already making 500-800m with a extra bonus payout at the end of 20b
even more ppl are going to be there lol
I like it
I got the Ancient Ron at 93 pity pieces.
Grinded 100 Oaths and 100 Fangs without getting any other ancient.
Got my Ornette two seasons ago.
Grinded 100 Narcs, 100 Valtarras and got the Ancient Gland at 97 Venoms.
Got my Odore last night.
Meanwhile, a clanmate got all three full pieces in less than two weeks after starting to go for the Ornette. He didn't even really need to actually grind to get it.
RNG gonna RNG.
Try your hand at the RNG for either the Archaeologist’s Map or Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Compass. 😊
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Splat!
