Cron Stones too Expensive

The RNG system in Black Desert is brutal.

For PEN accessories, the number of crons needed to protect yourself from the 7 in 8 chance you'll destroy the item is ridiculous, so you have a 7 in 8 chance of losing everything (though with BDO RNG it realy means 19 out of 20 or worse).

I managed to upgrade two PEN blackstar armors to PEN, and each took me 23520 cron stones. So that's 47000 cron stones to get 16 DP not counting the memory fragments and artisans memory.

I'm currently around 24 failures to TRI a godr aye offhand, so that's ♥♥♥♥0 cron stones to try to get 1 AP, and I still failed. My main hand is still DUO godr aye as well.

I've been stuck for a couple of years just trying to get strong enough to farm Gyfin Lower for loot, and I'm still stuck.

I tried to make my own PEN belt and smashed it. I gave up trying to make my own PEN blackstar main hand and off hand. I gave up trying to make my own PEN accessories.

BDO has no pity system. You either use cron stones and do not build a failstack, or you don't use cron stones and lose your progress. The choice is despicable.

When I failed my 24th attempt to try to get one more friggin' AP point, I frankly gave up.

I've been playing other games and have done maybe one hour of PVM in the last two weeks.

What's the point? There's no progression.

You dont buy deboraka, it doesnt count best in slot in everything. Black star weapon dont even need all 3 and the price you set up at false. Fallen God base is 32b. Dahn Glove 33b, Urugon Pen 11.6b. Turo belt Pen 137b. Disto Pen 137b, Debo Neck go grind that thing other wise Ogre for 68b. For Black Star Main is 119b, Awaken Dande pen 6b, Kutum 10b, crystal prices will change from dirt cheap to expensive around 10b, Vell 15b, Garmonth 9b each. Around 579b and less if you enhance them

1. Damage reduction is a crucial bonus.
2. 13 from fallen, 10 from labreska, 10 from dahn and 10 from set. Also an additional 400 hp.
3. Dim pen cr20 requires 24,460 caphrases. Griffon 21,744 and Bheg also 21,744. For almost 4 years of playing, I collected caphrases that barely covered 4 pieces of armor on cr10.
Pen boss and caphrases are already prehistory.

Bro if you just want to ♥♥♥♥♥ and be lazy just quit, Black Desert is not for everyone is understandable. I was just letting you know how easy is to make 1B and yes you have to work for your gear in this game which gives you a greater sense of accomplishment when you do. Stop with the laziness not everything will be handed. Be glad BDO is the way it is now…every veteran player knows how hard and tedious was it when it first came out.

99% of people I know got their first pens from Jetina.
Degradation level and disappearance of items worth tens of billions is the main reason why even 99% of new players leave bdo within the first 1-2 months.

You're the one who lacks reading comprehension. I was talking about cron stones being too expensive, and they were and they are. Not that i care anymore since I quit a month ago over that.
