Low power mode always on..

I have tried everything under the sun to fix this, i have contacted support multiple times i have tried all of the bug fixes available. I have ran the game as admin and verified the game cache.

Every single time i log on the game, in the main menu low power mode is always enabled despite me disabling and confirming both in the menu and in game.

Regardless if i turn it on or off in the main menu, when i get into the game the low power option is turned off but my frame rate is such ♥♥♥♥ when i first load in and trying to go through towns is torture with fps drops to like 5 despite me having well above the spec to run the game and i'm only running it on the high preset with medium textures with basically all of the optional settings turned off..

What am i doing wrong!?!?

ok this is more than enough to rock the game on ultra tbh
any chance your config is read only?
if you say everytime you come back to the game it resets to the value before that is sketchy
config is located within documents black dessert folder
you could also override it and make it read only after by yourself to prevent the game from change anything

Nope i just done a full uninstall and re-install. Most of my settings went back to default so i changed them to what i normally have, saved them and after restarting the game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOW POWER MODE AND AUTO FRAME OPTIMISATION STILL TURN ON.

Literally so unplayable. The first time i load in my fps is like 5 for around 10 seconds then when i try to move it is choppy as hell and when i get anywhere near a storage keeper with lots of players near it my fps dies again back to 5. This is the worst game for frame rate and i hate it. Nothing works which is fitting because this game sucks

IF my old rig can play this game at 90fps outside citys and 70fps inside citys and over 60fps in large PVP battles then most computer can esaly play the game

I play at veryhigh at 1080p
I can play at 60fps 1440p but my fans are broken on my GPU so I had to rig a couple old CPU fans on it so I play at 1080p now. And it's weird 1 or 2 years ago I had trouble playing at 40fps on very high and around 50 to 60fps on remastered but now I can't have more than 50fps on remastered and I'm almost always above 70fps on very high with the same hardware but back then I didn't have a SSD and this game is made to run on even low end laptops just don't expect a good looking game

You did not read a single thing i have posted. Not only do my specs outweigh yours, but even running on the low preset with low texture quality my fps in towns still tanks to between 5-10 for multiple seconds every now and again. I get 144fps outside of towns mostly and in larger battles i get around 80-100.

Oh I read it I'm saying that my crappie rig can play this game with no FPS drops whatsoever if I set the fps to 60fps I never have an FPS drop in combat boss fights in town and nothing so something's going on on your end may be a driver update maybe you got to reinstall Windows who knows

That is odd, might want to reinstall windows. I am on a mid range system Ryzen 9 3900x, 64gb ram DDR43600 and a GeForce RTX 3080 and I play on 1440p with everything maxed on remaster and have no issues in towns.

i fixed it, i had a friend set his in game settings to what i want, send me his .xml file and i replaced mines with it and it works perfectly now

edit: yes this game is THAT garbage
